KalliKids does not charge you at all for a DBS application. The total cost of your Enhanced DBS will be £60. This charge is made up of:
KalliKids, like many organisations, accepts a DBS check as current if it is less than three years old. This means your DBS check will last for three years in most circumstances, making the cost £20 per year.
DBS stands for Disclosure and Barring Service and is a police check made by the DBS (a Government agency). Find out more.
No: KalliKids is about giving parents information to make their own choice. If you do have a DBS or CRB, KalliKids will show you as "DBS/CRB checked" if that check is dated within the past three years at accreditation and discloses no police incidents or only minor police incidents.
CRB checks made prior to that date and less than three years old are still accepted by KalliKids as a valid CRB/DBS check.
