We are looking for a friendly and versatile developer to join our newly created DevOps team in Brighton to participate in the development of our next generation of online services, a set of awesome tools that will be used daily by thousands of customers. This is an opportunity to work in a small team operating a startup environment, but in an established business.
Developing in PHP on the Laravel 5 framework, you will be a core part of the DevOps team, developing new applications, improving existing tools and working on innovative new services.

A strong communicator with a solid foundation in computer science, with a drive to deliver quality code through MVC, Design Patterns, strong understanding of relational databases, algorithms and software design.
You must have a demonstrable ability to write and test well-documented, clean, and easy-to-maintain code.

We are looking for a school leaver/graduate who wants to try their hand in a variety of marketing activities to gain skills and experience for the future.
The ideal candidate needs to be someone who is motivated and prefers to learn by “doing” versus sitting in a class room learning the theory. Depending on the skills and experience of the person, the role may include social media, website changes, promotional marketing and market research.
The role will be based in the Brighton office, 3 to 5 days per week for three months. The role is unpaid but reasonable travel expenses may be paid if a receipt is provided and the value is agreed in advance.
We are looking for self-motivated people to represent KalliKids at family fairs and other events, mostly on Saturdays and Sundays.
The roles are based in Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire and will often involve set-up of a gazebo and other equipment so will involve some light physical work. The ideal candidate is personable, can chat freely with families and has a DBS/CRB dated within three years as they will be working with children. The candidate will also need their own car to travel to and from events.
Events are usually planned two months in advance.
The role will be paid by the hour at a weekend rate of £10 per hour plus mileage.
