Families can look for the KalliKids tick of accreditation on websites, adverts and leaflets to gain comfort that an activity provider has been referenced and checked in this way.
KalliKids accreditation is NOT a guarantee that each activity is right for your child, nor a guarantee of the safety and legal compliance of the activity provider. You as a parent are the best placed to judge your child's happiness and to observe the safety and legal compliance of each activity provider.
KalliKids accreditation IS a guarantee that three families have spoken independently with KalliKids and that the KalliKids team have seen proof of qualifications and other documentation.
The three references for each provider take place verbally with a KalliKids team member and follow a structured set of questions. It is very important that the references are verbal so that the KalliKids team can hear what the family think not just read words
These verbal references are then confirmed in writing and are shown with the tick of accreditation on the activity provider's customer review tab.
Each activity provider must provide copies or originals of photo ID of key staff, qualifications, memberships, insurance and DBS (or CRB/PVG). Insurance and DBS are not obligatory for KalliKids accreditation and to be as transparent as possible for families, DBS and insurance statuses are shown on each KalliKids profile.
If an activity provider is found to be fraudulent or has omitted to tell the KalliKids of the cancellation of a professional qualification, KalliKids reserves the right to terminate accreditation.
