  1. Jittabugs offers quality Pre-School Activity and Dance Classes with tailored classes for newborns upwards. 

    Whether it’s one of our Baby Sign & Play classes or a calming Baby Massage or a Dance Class, Jittabugs is the place to find it! 

    It’s everything a parent could want to do with their children starting from newborns.  We provide classes in the community at local venues, private classes for groups of friends, classes at private day nurseries, Pre-Schools and Schools and even classes at local Sure Start Children Centres. 

    Our Pre-School Classes are specifically tailored for little ones and adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines, which means not only are they highly entertaining and stimulating, they are educational too. So you can guarantee your child is learning while playing!

    In addition to our Baby, Nursery & Pre-School Activity and Dance Classes we also offer classes to Primary, Junior and Secondary aged children in some areas.

    You will find Jittabugs Classes in the UK and Sri Lanka.

    So we have something for everybody.

      I have been taking my daughter to Jittabugs for the last year and half. Firstly, she did the class 'Move and Groove' which was lovely, using sensory, movement and relaxation. She is now in the 'Baby Ballet' class, where she is learning about positioning, learning basic ballet steps, rhythm and technique, and having lots of fun with music and building her confidence. The instructor, Caroline, is great - she is bubbly, fun, caring and knows how to get all the children to join in. I would recommend trying Jittabugs.

      I have been taking my two little girls to 'Jittabugs' for about a year and a half now. We go weekly, every Saturday morning and my children are in pre-schoolers group for the ages from 2-6 years old.
      We do ballet, singing and dancing using all different types of props, for example pretending to pick up flowers, they are structured and also themed.Our classes are taken by Caroline, and she brings alot of fun into it, she is lovely, both my girls really look forward to going.
      It also helps with confidence, communication skills, and it encourages creativity by having the structured and themed lessons. I would certainly recommend going to 'Jittabugs'.

      I have been taking my youngest daughter who is just over 2 years old, since Easter this year after searching for a ballet/dance class in our area. I found 'Jittabugs in Somerset, baby move and grove with Sensory play', and now go every week for 1/2 an hour classes. During her time there she will be taught a mixture of ballet and dance.
      My daughter loves going, she enjoys the dancing and meeting her friends. The classes are well structured with fantastic 'instructors who are very used to children' and 'all the children adore her' (Caroline), a few weeks ago there was the theme from 'Frozen' which was great fun!

      Ava loves coming to dance class. It's fun and very well organised. We have seen her confidence increase and she looks forward to it every week. Caroline is a great teacher.

      Fantastic session with lots of enthusiasm and encouragement for the kids. Caroline always takes time to include all the children and make sure they are having fun. Great way to keep them active and happy with an insight into basic ballet moves.

  5. Caroline Ashworth - Founder and tutor

    South West Hi, My name is Caroline and I’m mummy to Alfie James. I love teaching my classes and Alfie enjoys coming with me. My aim is to offer fun, educational classes to Pre-School children and calming, bonding classes for newborns. I love working with children and enjoy seeing their little faces light up when the music or singing begins. Alfie begins to wiggle his little hips the minute he hears any music. When Alfie was newborn he had lots of trouble with his tummy and so we gave him his bath and then had a session of Baby Massage each evening and within days the problems went away. I could talk forever on how wonderful our Jittabugs programs are and how my own little boy adores joining in but you will see for yourself from the very first lesson you come to. Alfie and I look forward to meeting you and your little ones and can’t wait to share the special moments we have in our sessions. See you there!! Caroline's qualifications include a certified member of The International Association Of Infant Massage, a baby yoga instructor accredited by A.S.E.T, a qualified dance instructor, First Aid trained, completed a 2 day foundation course with Makaton, completed a training course in Multi-sensory play.
