  1. Most of us have a favourite stuffed toy that holds cherished memories.  After the birth of my nephew Calum in 2011, I wanted to find him a bear just like one that I had when I was young. However, on failing to find the 'perfect bear', I created my own as a gift which turned into a much loved hobby that I couldn't put down. Since then, Fifi Stitch has grown after years of talking to mums and dads, and delivering their modern wants in this otherwise traditional product. The result is high quality, safe, and custom bears in a classic style.   

    Fifi uses British sourced 100% cotton towelling in a choice of 25 colours. They are triple stitched all though way through to allow for rough play, are stuffed with premium grade carded hollow fiber filling, and has eyes which are carefully painted with your colour choice, and are clasped tightly on the inside for safety. Each bear is complete with a satin stitched nose, again in your colour choice, and It's also always an option to add hand embroidered personalisation to your design if you desire.

    These bears come in a choice of 3 sizes: Baby bear, Mamma bear & Daddy bear and make the perfect bespoke, keepsake gift for a child or newborn, as a toy or nursery decoration. They may also make a very thoughtful gift for an adult compainon too!

    Fifi Stitch also creates beautiful memory bears that allows customers to turn special items full of memories, and hidden away in the draw, into a luxurious classic style bear in tribute to your something or someone special.

      I like the fact that Fifi Stitch uses up-cycling and makes memories for people. After my Dad passed away Fifi Stitch made a memory bear for my family using clothes and matching colours that really captured the essence of who he was. The bear wears overalls with braces and buttons at the back. Lesley, from Fifi Stitch talks with her customers and what she makes is very special - everyone who has seen my memory bear loves it!

      I have had several bears made including one for my partner, a memory bear for my daughter which was made out of my partner's mother's clothing, and a dog. The whole experience has been good, from the correspondence, to the design of the bear, to the final product. I was able to have lots of input, for example the colours of the eyes, the colours of the bear, personalisation on the paws. I would have them for any special occasion, the house will be full of bears soon! I will definitely use Fifi Stitch in the future for other things. The quality is perfect, and no stitching has come undone. My daughter plays with the bears but they are still perfect. I haven't got a bad word to say about Lesley - she is full of smiles. The bears are one-of-a-kind, and well worth the money.

      Lesley made me a customised bear as a gift for a friend of mine, in memory of my friend's child. Lesley is also making me two bears for my wedding which is very soon. One is for the flower girl and one is for the page boy. She gives really good customer service. You can follow the process step by step. I emailed Lesley directly, as I wanted customised bears. She asked my permission to put the process on Facebook, where you can see the process in step-by-step photos. She is open to any requirements you want, for example with the bears for my wedding she's matching the bears with what the children are wearing on the day. They are totally handmade, and hand stitched. Lesley does it all her own, and they are bespoke. The Bears are made with very high quality material and nothing is to much for Fifi to make for you. I will be ordering again for Christmas.

    My customer’s call me Fifi Stitch, a name which was originally given to me by friends, however my real name is Lesley Owen - You may call me which ever you wish! Based in South Wales, I never really grew out of cutting, colouring and sticking my fingers together! After studying a fashion degree at West Wales School of the Arts and graduating in 2010, my youngest nephew was born in 2011, for whom I designed and handmade his first teddy bear which turned into a hobby I simply couldn't put down. - Fifi Stitch has organically grown since then. Now I'm writing a childrens book around the brand and the 'Fifi Stitch' character, and concentrating on growing the brand globally - with having a large following in the US already, and while watching my young customers starting to grow up and still enjoying their Fifi Stitch teddybears. - I love my job!
