Appleyard Studios / AMPS Music School in Robertsbridge

Based in the heart of Sussex, award winning Appleyard Studios offers top class facilities - from a quality demo to a full blown album, to fabulous childrens recording parties.

Recording Parties

We offer the opportunity to become stars for a few hours. You select the tunes and we will do the rest. Once you have selected your songs we will send you the tracks so everyone in your party can learn your chosen song(s) and practice with the hair brush in the mirror, ready for your big day. We can cater for a maximum of twelve in a party and ages ranging from 6 to 18 years.

NO singing or diva training required! as our professional and friendly staff will be on hand to give help and advice on vocal and recording techniques. All members of staff have been fully CRB checked (Criminal Records Bureau). We are also covered by public liability insurance.

All of our party packages listed below include the following:

• CD for everyone
• Lyrics provided if needed
• Rehearsal time to sing or perform through songs
• Mic and vocal techniques

To make your stay with us that extra special, why not add one of the following to your package.

• Food and drink (£60 per group of 6, £7 per extra person)
• Photo package to capture your time with us (£60 for per session)
• Full DVD coverage of your session (£150)
• Full VIP package to include food, drink, photos, souvenir pass and your own page for a year on our website. (£150 per group, £12per extra person)

VIP Star Party Package

This is the ultimate in Popstar packages and includes two songs of your choice, group photo on arrival, VIP passes, your own page on our website, food and drink plus mic techniques, rehearsal time and CD's for each member and lyrics.

AMPS (Appleyard Music and Production School)

From September 2014 we will be launching some fantastic new musical courses designed to get you playing and hopefully enjoying your new skills. Whether it's learning the guitar or bass or getting to grips with the role of studio engineering for your own home studio skills, then we will have the course for you.

Open to all ages and abilities. Due to UK policy we run separate courses for adults.

You also have the opportunity to gain qualifications within your chosen subject with AQA examination board as well as a moving on to intermediate and advanced courses as you progress.

Not only that but we feel it's very important to get a first hand look at how the professionals do it, so throughout your time with us there will be opportunities to meet professional artists and educational trips in your chosen field. (Extra costs may apply)

Your tutors have worked within the world of music and music tuition for many years. They will help and guide you through every step of the way on your course. Our philosophy is to teach you the ways that us real musicians work, not just boring classroom work!!
