I went to Drusillas as a child and now take my nieces and nephews who love it! One of their favourite parts are the interactive stations that provide activities as you go round - we can spend hours on these, which is great as it allows them find out lots of interesting facts about animals they didn't know before. They also enjoy getting up close to the animals in the open enclosures and watching feeding times. The younger ones are still a bit too small to enjoy this element, but they love the vast play areas. The whole site is beautifully maintained, and even when busy, a day out is still a really pleasant experience.
Going to Drusillas is a great family day out and you know it will always be a great day, no matter the weather. Drusillas is very geared towards the children and it is very educational too: the kids can learn about the animals and the history of animals. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable too. The park, entertainment and shops keep up to date with new kids characters and trends and you never feel like you have seen everything - next time something new will be there. We go around twice a year and it ticks all the boxes for adults with good parking and happy kids. All in all a really great family day out!
Drusillas Park is a fantastic day out. It is easy to spend a whole day at Drusillas as there is so much to do. The children were fascinated by the animals and enjoyed watching and learning about them. The new Hello Kitty rides are a great new addition and the jungle themed adventure play area, which has lots of slides and climbing towers is always popular. A trip to Drusillas is always the highlight of any school holiday.
I love Drusillas park because there's a lot of animals. My favourite animal is the the meercats because you can crawl into these little tunnels and at the end you pop your head up this big bubble in the middle of the meercat cage! There is a indoor play area and an out door play area for everyone to enjoy. There is a lot of games like the penguin slide,Dino dig,and you can even ride a big Thomas train! We've had a season ticket to Drusilla’s for the last four years - it's got everything! The outdoor play area is fabulous and if the weather isn't great, there is always the indoor play area, or we can have a look through the zoo. It is the one place we visit as a family that I think is spot on - all the staff are so helpful and actually seem to care and attention to detail is second to none. As we have a season ticket, it’s fantastic value for money - we often pop over for a couple of hours.
