  1. We offer a wide range of activities for children that give everyone the chance to try something new, different and exciting.

    Individual children or groups can try:

    • Rock climbing
    • Archery
    • Kayaking
    • Canoeing
    • Mountain biking
    • Orienterring
    • Low ropes
    • Raft building
    • Paddling club

    We have been providing great activities for children since 1973 and we have developed the centre over that time and now run as sustainably as we can too.

      I first discovered Adur Outdoor Activity Centre a long time ago when one of the boys went to a kayaking birthday party there. Since then both boys have enjoyed trying many different activities, including climbing. Kayaking is now a firm favourite and the boys go along to Adur twice a week in the summer and once a week in winter Jake even did his silver Duke of Edinburgh Award there. The coaches are first class and the facilities very good.

      My children have been climbing for 3 years undergoing a programme called Rock Hoppers where they work towards different badges and at 14 they can work towards completing NICAS 4 and becoming a lead climber. The instructors are really good and my kids love it. They have also had the opportunity to have a go on the low ropes and have attended an open day where they got to try their hand at archery. I also like how the staff are very friendly - you really do feel like you are part of it!

      Adur Activity Centre is fantastic. Everyone is extremely friendly, a real community. My daughter does rock climbing, kayaking, archery and mountain biking. The instructors are brilliant and it's built my daughters confidence up no end. Kayleigh is now on the Junior Regional Academy with GB Kayaking, and it's been great, some of the instructors from Adur Activity Centre have even travelled to see her compete & support her. We love it!
