Hopperz offer interactive fun and fitness for children and adults.
Movement and physical activity are fundamental for optimum brain development and overall emotional well-being. For children to be receptive to learning by the time they start school they must first develop motor skills. These are fundamental for supporting children to be 'school ready' known as 'neuromotor readiness'. This describes a range of physical skills including control of balance, posture and coordination which are essential to support the ability to sit still, coordinate the hand and eyes when writing, control eye movements needed in reading, and body control needed to participate in PE and playground games. It's never too early to start investing in your child's schooling experience. Children's attitude to physical activity and movement are formed in the early years and influenced by the adults around them, which is why Hopperz encourages children and adults to have fun together.
- Classes are for children approx 15 months plus and children need to be steady on their feet. . Younger siblings are more then welcome. Classes are for 45mins and a variety of equipment is used to support the children's development, for example, footballs, bean bags, hoops, parachute games.
