Gymboree Walton on Thames is membership based and our classes incorporate music, singing, movement, dance, signing, art and drama activities to grow your child’s body and mind!

Sensory Baby Play (newborn-6 months), Play & Learn (6 months-5 yrs), Family Music (6 months - 5 yrs) Family Art (18 months - 5 yrs) Theatre Arts (3-5 yrs) Children's Parties (1 - 5 yrs) with a range of fun themes! 

SENSORY BABY PLAY: Newborn – 6 month old babies; Sensory exploration with physical, visual, tactile and auditory activities. We feature song, dance, massage, music, infant signing, physical apparatus and a wide variety of props. These classes are designed for pre-mobile babies from newborn. We use sensory play and exploration to aid crucial early development. Our Sensory baby classes are unlimited so you can attend as many classes as you would like a week.

PLAY & LEARN: From 6 months to 5 yrs. Play & Learn helps growing young bodies and minds. Our play-based activities are all set in our glorious Playfloor with purpose built soft-play, tunnels, slides, climbers and much more.  We are much more than just SOFT-PLAY! Our hard and soft equipment is designed to be developmentally challenging to help little ones become confident through play.

SIBLING AND FAMILY CLASSES: From 6 months to 5 yrs. We offer a Family Play & Learn class all year round for children from 6 months to 5 years. Why not book in for a class during half terms and bring the family along for some fun? 

FAMILY ART: From 18 months to 5 yrs.  A mixed age class to help inspire your child's imagination with a world of hands-on art activities.  Through painting, printing, sculpture, drawing, collage and more, our art classes encourage confidence and support artistic potential.  And even better .... no paint splashes on your walls at home!

FAMILY MUSIC: From 6 months to 5 years.  Another mixed age class designed to enhance your child's development and love of music through song, dance, movement games and instruments.  Our Music classes are high energy and full of life, allowing children to express themselves freely and to move about when the modd strikes!  A new musical style is explored every three weeks - from African to Classical, Jazz and Disco, R&B to Asia - introducing children to a variety of new sounds and rhythms from all over the world and from past to present!

 FREE TRIAL: Free Trial classes must be pre-booked. Once you sign up to a class you automatically become a member of Gymboree Walton on Thames which entitles you to unlimited use of our Open Gym and Open Art Sessions as well as Gymbo's Playden free of charge.  

We offer drop-in free play sessions for our members. Members can simply come along with children from 0-5 years and play for free (see below).

OPEN GYM: Our amazing indoor activity Playfloor offers a chance for your children to explore all the equipment on their own terms, having fun but still building on their physical development and releasing all that pent up energy.  Stuck at home or been out in the cold all day?  Pop in and have some fun at Open Gym.  Please see our timetable for Open Gym times.

OPEN ART: A free drop-in session for our members with play dough, reading, music, drawing and dressing up fun.  Please see our timetable for Open Art times.

GYMBO'S PLAYDEN: A great place to come with your little one to play and socialise with other children.  With toys for all ages and an area set aside for non-mobile babies, let them explore all there is to offer giving you the chance to have a cuppa and relax.

MAKE UPS: We have a unique ‘catch-up’ policy – any missed class can be made-up with an extra class to be taken within 6 weeks! Make-ups must be pre-booked and are subject to availability – please email or call to book in.

CAFE: Freshly made sandwiches and toasties, hot and cold drinks and snacks are available to buy so no need to rush home for lunch. 

ADULTS MUST WEAR SOCKS TO CLASS AND CHILDREN SHOULD HAVE BARE FEET.
