  1. Welcome to the world of Tomfoolery! Providing professional entertainment for children's parties for all ages - whether in my stripey socks or one of my many other characters, is what I love to do! We can provide Superhero, Power Rangers, Disco parties - give me a call to discuss your ideas!

    Whatever your theme or location, I always arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time to get set up and acquainted with the birthday boys/girls. You don't need to supply anything, I come fully self contained with my own music system, props for games and magic and enough balloons for everyone, even a few for the adults if they ask nicely! The only thing I require, (other than a little milk and one sugar in my tea, where possible!) is a standard 13amp plug socket.

    Each party varies slightly, depending on theme, age, location, wind direction, what I had for breakfast, solar movements etc. But generally you can expect the following:

    • First 5 mins of meet and greet (especially important for the 3-4 yr olds)
    • Loads of silliness!
    • Party games & Dancing! All my games are fully inclusive (no sitting out) and the only person that loses is ME!
    • Break for the birthday tea whilst I do silly jokes & magic .
    • After tea and cake I do a magic show where the birthday child can help me if they so choose.
    • Balloons! I always make sure every child gets a balloon model to take home with them regardless of how many there are!

    Please email for a quote, my fees only depend on where I have to travel to and on what day of the week. The theme of the party or how many children attend do not effect the price!

      Tom has now hosted 5 parties for us - and is already booked for my sons upcoming 7th birthday! We can't speak highly enough of him. He is so good with the kids and has them mesmerised for the whole of the party. He always arrives early and helps set up. We first saw him at the Bandstand in Horsham Park where they have children's entertainment and thought he was fantastic. All the other parents who have seen him always comment on how good he is. He really engages with the children and seems to enjoy himself as well, which the children pick up on.

      We'd seen Tom at Holmbush Farm as he sometimes provides entertainment there, and from there we booked him for my son's 6th birthday party last year where he provided a magic show and general silliness. He engages with the children so well - they love him and the way he interacts with them. My son is quite shy, and you could see his confidence grow with Tom during the party. He is so friendly and I can't recommend him highly enough. I've seen other party entertainers, and they're just not a patch on him - he's fabulous!

      I have been to loads of Tomfoolery parties as he is very popular within my eldest year group. My son had a party with him and he just loved it. He has an amazing ability to keep the kids entertained the entire party. He has this pull of energy that just keeps them engaged the entire time. He has so much material so it really keeps the kids on their toes and he seems to have a genuine affinity with children. I am going to use him again for my daughter's party and continue to recommend him to my friends.

      Saw Tom at the annual Higgidy picnic. He had the complete attention of the kids - including mine, and frequently had them in stitches! Great entertainer, would definitely recommend.

      Tom Foolery really works hard to make all the kids feel included, involved and engaged. He really makes them feel at ease and what starts off shy kids by the end they are all joining in. I have had so many comments from the adults saying how much they enjoyed the party and their kid hasn't stopped talking about beans on toast and what a good time they had. Can Highly recommend Tom he was the entertainment for both my children's 5th Birthday's, both had 30+ children. He managed them really well! Thanks Tom!

    It all started at the age of 18, I embarked on a summer season in the Mediterranean entertaining families as a blue coat style rep. I went on and spent the following season in Corfu as a Karaoke compare/DJ. After two seasons working away, I finally realised I was never going to get that bronzed body and decided to base things here in the UK. By 21 I was working as a full time entertainer, providing discos for private functions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Somewhere in between all this, at the age of 20 "Tommy the Clown" was born, bumbling into children's parties and generally making a fool of himself without a thought for his own self respect!


    Over the years I have built upon this act and now perform as Tomfoolery, having professional fun at children's parties all over England. Now twelve years on, I have considerable experience under my belt and have entertained for many top names and corporations.Such as Uma Thurman, Lenny Henry, Coca-Cola, The Blue Bird Club (Chelsea), The Australian High Commission, National Australia Bank, All England Jumping Course (Hickstead), The AA, Drusillas Zoo park, Gatwick airport, to name just a few. I have also professionally fooled around at the film premiers "Thunderbirds", "Nanny McPhee" & "Monsters V's Aliens" in London's Leicester Square.
