We are a leading provider of Breakfast, Holiday and After School childcare for children aged 4 to 11 in West Sussex.
The first thing many children want to do when they come out of school is to eat and let off steam and we also appreciate that many of the younger children just want to chill out and relax. Our clubs have an extensive range of loose parts and inside and outside activities for those of you who want to take part. The free flowing snack table is very well used as children arrive at the club and available until through-out the session. Children that stay until 6.00pm are offered an additional snack.
The staff and children help us regularly to come up with ideas and suggestions to produce an activity sheet which is displayed on the wall, (we incorporate the Early Years Foundation Stage and the play principles in our planning, not that the kids take any notice, it's just play to them) this is very flexible as children can often change their minds.
Our Breakfast clubs open at various times to suit the individual clubs and schools between 7:30am and 8am each school day. Whatever their arrival time the breakfast food is usually cleared away by 8:25am allowing the children some arts and crafts, games inside or out before starting their school day. Breakfast would typically consist of healthy cereals (we try to steer clear of the sugar coated ones!) as well as toast / yogurts and a choice of fruit juices, fresh and dried fruit. specials are muffins, crumpets, pancakes, croissants and milk shakes, a different one each week.
Manor Field starts at 8.00am and can finish at 3.00pm or 6.00pm. Sompting starts at 8.00am and finish at 3.00pm.
We have a fantastic choice of activities available on our planning sheet for each day, (check out the holiday page on our website), not to mention all the loose parts the children have access too. This is a kids club where they make their own choices, they can join in with the fun and games or just do there own thing with their mates, no pressure here. Some typical examples of what they might do in a day are:- A Water Themed Day including paper boat races, Water Balloon Fight, dodge-ball, football, the "ice-cream" game,( without ice cream) bouncy castle throughout the day. We lay on trips out at additional costs and we love to invite visitors in like drums and puppet workshops or Punch and Judy and Magic shows. Each holiday activity sheet is different.

Tictoc Playclubs are really convenient to us as they are run in my sons' school so my children don't even have to leave the premises! The staff there are really friendly. My son has several food allergies and they have been so accommodating about this - they've changed behaviour within the club so that no food is left lying around, Linda has bought in special snacks that accommodate his allergies and they also work out the recipes so that he can join in with cooking. I've used the club for the last three years and am really pleased with it. The boys also love the summer camps as they have a bouncy castle and do loads of activities - probably more than they would do at home! Occasionally the summer camps are not run at their local school, and they arrange transport to another local school eg: Burgess Hill - although I would prefer it if they could all be run at their local school.
My children have both been attending the Tic Toc afterschool club and holiday clubs for almost two years now. This works so well for me as both my boys have special needs, and are statemented, and both Richard and Linda have a very good understanding of their needs and how to approach them and work with them. Any situations that arise are dealt with and any problems are followed through. They have established ground rules within the club which are essential. They are always open for discussion about any issues and any problems I have had have quickly been resolved.
The boys enjoy the holiday clubs so much and ask before each holiday if they can go there which indicates how much fun they have! The holiday clubs seem to cater for everyones needs - boys, girls, extroverts and introverts. I like that they encourage the children to use the outdoor space, even if it is raining!

Tic Toc Play was set up by Linda and Richard Bennett.
Alisha has been going to after school and holiday clubs with TicToc ever since they took over at Manor Fields. The staff are very friendly, keen to help and so flexible and the club has a brilliant atmosphere. I have had some health issues and they have been so accommodating if I have emergency hospital appointments and are able to fit her in at short notice. She always has a brilliant time there and comes out bouncy and happy, and the atmosphere there is great.
