Our goal at Little Impressions Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Sevenoaks is to capture a memory that will last forever. Your little one will grow so quickly and what better way to remember how small they once were than to have impressions taken which you can treasure for ever.
I take hand and foot prints in soft terracotta clay, from which I make a plaster cast. This is then sanded and painted in a neutral finish to highlight the details in the hands and feet, before being framed in a solid oak or pine box.
All the pine frames come with a cream background, while the oak has a choice of three frame stains and a wide range of background colours. You can also add a photo or first shoes into a frame with your imprints. The result is a beautiful keepsake you will treasure for ever which costs little more than some kits. A fabulous, personalised work of art you will want to keep for yourself or share as a gift.
Don't worry if you haven't had your older children's impressions taken, as we can frame sibling casts together.
We also have a range of Recollections sterling silver jewellery which can be detailed with your child's hand print, foot print or fingerprint. We use inkless wipes to take the hand and foot prints and a small ink pad for fingerprints.
Unlike some products which are made using silver clay, we are able to take fingerprints from birth. The hallmarked sterling silver finish means the prints will remain looking fabulous on your pendant, keyring or cufflinks even if you wear them every day.
I usually work from home in Southborough on an appointment basis, but I'm more than happy to do home visits for a mileage based fee. I am also available to attend events, be that baby shows, craft fairs, school fairs, toddler groups, and baby clubs.
You could also get a group of friends together and host a Little Impressions party. The host will get commission on every sale, to use towards their own impressions.

Very professional and interesting service and not something you could do at home as requires a specialist skill set. Roanna was very accommodating, she is happy to come to your home and importantly she makes sure that the finished product is just right. I would definitely use Little Impressions again.

As a satisfied customer of Little Impressions I decided to buy the franchise for Little Impressions Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Sevenoaks in 2011 when my son was 1. I loved the products and was frustrated that no one made them in the West Kent and East Sussex areas. I was trained in how to take the best impressions, cast and frame them by Little Impressions head office. Since then I have taken on Recollections sterling silver jewellery, where I take hand and foot prints using inkless wipes and fingerprints using an ink pad.
I have 3 small children and usually work from home in Southborough, but do go out to baby shows, craft events, toddler groups etc throughout the area.
Prior to running Little Impressions I was a journalist working in the road haulage sector.
We had an impression of my daughter's hand in an oak frame and were so pleased with it. Roanna was brilliant with my daughter, who was under a year at the time, and the service was really quick. I was slightly wary of the difficulty of getting a good handprint, as I know this can be quite tricky but I needn't have worried. We were very pleased with the result, the oak frame is also very good quality, and knowing the amount of work that goes into this, I felt we got very good value for money.
