Each week children aged 3-11 fill the studios with their enthusiasm, energy and laughter as they try new routines to their favourite songs. Kicks provides children with an arena to be creative, try out choreographic skills and use props or costumes. We have grown through recommendation and have met a need that parents seem to be looking for. Kicks has a unique appeal to boys and girls and to children of all abilities - it is about dancing to music they enjoy without the pressure of exams.

My boys have been having lessons at Kicks Dance for almost a year now and I wish I'd sent them years ago! Amelia is amazing with the children - my eldest son's lacked in self confidence previously, and she has completely turned this around. Amelia is really in tune with the children - both as a group and individuals- and able to get the best out of them.
I've been so pleased with the Kicks Dance lessons. Amelia and Julia are lovely teachers, so kind and encouraging with the children. My daughters adore it, and always come home smiling from their lessons, which is the biggest recommendation of all!.
Kicks has been great for my son. He has attended since he was three and still does Kicks (two times a week) at age 10! It has given him confidence, good times and wonderful memories. His performances as part of Kicks have given us some of the highlights of his childhood and we will treasure them forever. Kicks is more of a family than an activity, they have embraced our son and helped him fly!
Iliria who is 6 has been doing Kicks Dance for 3 years. it is very good value for money.
Ilira spoke Italian when she started but bonded with the teacher and became a confident and outgoing little 6 year old who loves to perform.

Lisa trained at Masters Performing Arts College in dance and musical theatre, along with her ISTD qualifications in Modern and Tap. Upon graduation, Lisa spent 10 years dancing professionally, as well as working as an assistant choreographer and dance captain. Lisa has always wanted to go on to teach and pass on her love of dance and last year decided to stop travelling and settle back in her home of Sussex to fulfil her teaching dream. Lisa is also a trained Zumba© & Pilates instructor.
Amelia trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz & Classical Greek from the age of 3 and studied at Roehampton University in Dance Studies. During her time at Roehampton, Amelia acted as the university's student representative for 'Dance UK' (the national advocate of dance) and was the Rehearsal Director for the dance company 'Third Row'. Amelia is also a qualified Zumba© & Zumba Kids© instructor. Amelia followed in her mum's footsteps and began teaching at Kicks Dance in East Grinstead. Her passion and excitement for the business inspired Amelia to set up the first franchise in Horsham in September 2013 and be involved with the development of further Kicks franchises around the country.
Since Julia founded Kicks in early 2008, she has been enjoying the most satisfying and exciting years of my career to date. A teacher for 20 years, Julia has always enjoyed combining her passion for dance with her love for children. Having the opportunity to start Kicks has added a new dimension and has been a wonderful experience. It is a joy to see the children grow in confidence, ability and fitness whilst at the same time having lots of fun!
Rachel has being going to Kicks Dance every week since she was in Reception, in fact she now goes twice a week and helps out after school with the little ones. Rachel loves the classes "Fantastically Enjoyable" are the words she used! Amelia and Julia are so kind, caring, supportive and so encouraging. What I love about the classes are that they aren't rigid and the children can have fun with the music without the pressure of exams or being too precise. They have a show every two years and I could really see the improvement in Rachel and her confidence has grown so much that she has asked to start extra drama classes. I cannot praise Kicks highly enough.
Rachel says " I love Kicks because you have the chance to be in a show which is so cool. Julia is the best dance teacher ever because she is funny, she's confident and most important of all she has faith in all of us. Even if we get our steps wrong she just goes over it one more time and doesn't shout at us at all. As well as Julia, we have Flo and Amelia who are just as helpful in all of the shows. They’re all kind and lovely.
Every lesson we go in a circle showing off our groovy moves but sometimes we go to the corner doing exactly the same.
In musical theatre we do vocal warm ups, also we play games which are really funtastic (fun and fantastic).
There are workshops in the holidays because no-one can suffer that long without a Kicks fix!..
