At diddi dance we offer funky preschool dance classes for boys and girls. We realise and encourage endless enthusiasm and energy in an action packed, full of fun 45 minute dance class. As well as our classes we also offer parties at your choice of location.
Using various dancing games and exercises, bells, hoops and dance ribbons to our own funky pop songs your little one not only improves their rhythm and co-ordination but also social and gross motor skills. We also look at different dance styles every half term from salsa and hip hop to country and disco. Classes are ideally suited for both boys and girls between 18mths - 4 years old. We have had children as young as 16 months, so always call to book a free trial.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join in and share the enjoyment with their diddi dancer. However, week after week as you see their confidence blossom you will find yourself able to take a well earned rest and watch with pride their funky moves and smiles. We realise that some toddlers are more confident than others. We therefore offer a free trial so you can be confident its a class they'll enjoy. Bookings are then taken in half term blocks (usually 6 weeks).
Parties
As well as our classes we also offer parties at your choice of location. Here your little ones enjoy an hour of great activities including dancing games, action songs, hoops, dance ribbons, bubbles, balloons, bells and lots of fun!! Our parties offer fantastic, fun and affordable entertainment which will ensure your party is the talk of the tots. My daughter really loves going to Diddi Dance on a Saturday morning and we've been going since it started. I liked the fact we had a free taster class so we could try it and see if it was something that she would enjoy.
The classes are really varied and interactive, and she especially likes using the ribbons and hula hoops. Joanna is great with the kids - very encouraging.

We've been going to Diddi Dance since it started in this area - we went for a free taster class and Hugo enjoyed it so much we've been every week since. I love the structure of the classes - Hugo responds to this very well and can almost pre-empt what is going to happen next. The children seem to love the diversity of the classes and get a good deal of exercise as well. The classes are well thought out - each week being similar but yet different and really inclusive for all the ages there. The venues are great with free parking. Joanna is fantastic - gets all the children involved, keeps them occupied and really holds their attention. She has also been fabulous communication-wise - regular newsletters etc and even in the snow we knew whether classes would be happening. We haven't been able to beat it as a class to go to!

We've been going to Diddi Dance since Joanna's first class. I think the classes are great as not only are they very physical (a good energy burner!), but they also help the children develop their social skills such as listening, taking turns and sharing. I'm a big fan of Joanna - she runs the class with such enthusiasm and is fabulous at making sure all the children are included, as well as knowing when to give them a bit of space.

My daughter loves Joanna's Diddidance classes. She enjoys learning a different dance each term, my daughter comes home and pretends to be Joanna. It's a very active class which is great for my daughters high energy. Overall Joanna is fantastic and so is the class she delivers.

I am so excited to be introducing Eastbourne and its surrounding areas to the wonderful world of diddi dance!
With one diddi dancer already at home (and one waiting in the wings), I know first hand how much fun the classes are and how quickly a child's confidence can grow through such activity. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of using my previous experience, within the performing arts sector, to share the diddi dance energy and enjoyment it can bring with you and your "diddi" ones!

Myself and Maisy love going to Joanna's Diddi Dance classes - they really suit Maisie as they are high energy and very active, as well as encouraging listening skills and learning to take turns. Jo's energy and enthusiasm are great and Maisie talks a lot about her "good toes" and "naughty toes".
