  1. Hi everyone, my name is Zoe and I am delighted to be running Boogie Beat music & movement classes in the Edinburgh and Stirling areas! When I first attended a Boogie Beat class I fell in love with the traditional stories and beautiful classical fairy tales which are structured around a dance and music concept. Not only are the classes fun and lively, they also create a lovely warm environment for children to learn key skills and express themselves at the same time. 
    I have lots of experience in working with children; including play scheme and out of school care helper, working as a play group leader and also a rainbow leader. I love dancing and as a teenager I attended Monument Dance School and took ballet, tap and modern classes. I love being able to combine working with children with my love of dancing and music! 
    When looking for classes for my little boy to attend, I found that Boogie Beat ticks all the boxes: it’s high energy and exciting, teaches skills such as counting, sharing, hand eye coordination whilst helping to develop confidence. As a Mum, I know the importance and benefits to you and your children of finding and attending a fun and educational pre school class.  
    I feel honoured to be part of the Boogie Beat team, which allows me to fit working around my family.  Come along to a class and meet Giggles the Boogie Beat monkey and experience the magic for yourself - it will leave you smiling! Zx

      Zoe is really welcoming, and makes sure all the children are included and involved throughout the class. She's also very relaxed and doesn't make you feel silly when you're dancing around with your toddler! She has lots of energy, and because she's a fun person all the children really seem to respond well to her. The class structure is good, with lots of short segments of singing, dancing or storytime, which keeps things moving and the children stay interested and engaged. It's great for Dominic to be around his peers, and he really enjoys the music and dancing. It's also a nice opportunity for me to get to know other mums too. We're looking forward to the next course of sessions!

      Boogie Beats is great, my daughter, Ava loves it! It's a really friendly and energetic class. Zoe, who runs the class, is brilliant! all the children absolutely love her! When Ava first started she was quite shy, but now she happily joins in. The classes include a variety of things each week such as, dance, music and story telling. Ava likes the dancing and singing songs the best!

      There are so many things that my son loves about coming here - the toys that come out of the toy box, the instructor and the songs to name a just few. He also enjoys interacting with his friends in a close knit group which is really nice for him. As well as being great fun it’s very educational for them too. They learn to take turns with other children and he’s now the first to shout out the colours he’s learnt. The instructor is really enthusiastic about every thing, she’s like the pied piper of the children as they’re just mesmerised by her! My son gets very excited every time he knows we’re going to Boogie Beats.

  5. Giggles the Boogie Beat Monkey

    Giggles assists Zoe in every class, workshop or party! His job is to give lots of cuddles and tickles to little ones. Sometimes Giggles hides in the Boogie Beat toy box to surprise the little Boogie Beaters with a great big boo!!!!
