Hi there! I am Sara and I run Baby Sensory classes in the Redbridge area. :)
But what is Baby Sensory all about?
Baby Sensory are award winning baby development classes specifically for babies from birth to 13 months and provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year.
Babies have an amazing capacity to learn in their first year and we don’t waste a single second of this valuable time. Activities include every possible sensory experience from sign language, fibre optic light shows and amazing bouncy light balls to rainbows, bubbles, bells and a whole lot more! All activities are accompanied by fun, upbeat music, some of which is original to Baby Sensory. From Mozart to Rock and Roll, there is something to suit every baby and every occasion!
Once you have experienced our parent and baby activities you will want to come back next week for more captivating experiences.

The group is very well run, interactive, varied and gives you ideas to take home with a dynamic range of activities to keep the babies' interest. My son smiles as soon as they start singing. Sara who runs the group has an amazing energy and enthusiasm.
Initially I wanted to take Matilda to a children’s group where she wouldn’t just be playing on her own, and I went to a taster session for Baby Sensory when she was around 8 or 9 weeks old, not really knowing what to expect. Sara explained it was fine if the babies needed feeding or changing, and if they wanted to crawl around and explore that was ok to. We always begin with the “hello” song which includes signing. There are lot of songs repeated over different weeks (and the hello and goodbye each week) and we learn the signs that go with them. Matilda can now sign “friends” and “rain”. She has favourite songs so if she gets upset I know I can start singing one and doing the signs to make her giggle. There are lots of musical toys around for them to play with; its how we discovered she loves the maracas! Usually the session is themed, like teddy bears picnic, or there is a puppet show, so much goes on. Sometimes you’re doing something one on one with your child so they’re focused on you, and other times you’re working with the other parents and babies as a group, like pulling fabric across between you and bouncing toys on it. Everything is about benefiting your child; there is always something for them to focus on either visually or with noises and sounds. It’s not just Matilda who likes going, I really enjoy it too!
Every week is different with a different theme and each class is 40 minutes long, well structured and good value for money. We really enjoy the classes which are nice and relaxed, clean and very accommodating. Suitable for very young babies upwards, it tires my 4 month old daughter out and she usually sleeps well afterwards. The classes are run by Sara who is very friendly and accommodating. Early booking discounts are also offered as well as taster classes. Excellent value for money.
I really appreciate Sara's enthusiasm and gthe variety of activities for my little.

I started working with children when I was at University. I taught in after-school programs and summer schools and worked with Primary Schools and Libraries to create Children’s Book and Art Projects. Since I moved to the UK in 2007, I reinvented myself few times and had the chance to do different jobs (from Barista to Language Tester, from Translator to Art Model) whilst keeping on teaching languages to adults and children online as well. I've always liked to work with kids creating art activities, games, crafts, reading and singing together. Baby Sensory classes gave me the chance to enjoy all of this and much more every week! When my son Noah was born in September 2010, I was looking for a class to have some fun together and meet other new mums… that's how I discovered Baby Sensory! We started going to classes when Noah was 5 months old and since then we have enjoyed every moment! It was wonderful to watch Noah‘s excitement as he quickly gained confidence, started exploring and began to recognise the familiar songs. Every week we enjoyed something new (puppets show, silky scarves, bubbles, bouncy light balls, musical instruments & toys to play with & cuddle), learnt new songs and activities to re-create at home. I loved the classes so much that I decided to run classes of my own. I hope you will join me and see for yourself how much fun they can be!
I have been taking my daughter, who's 9 months now, for a couple of months and we both love it. Each week is a different theme, with great songs and props for both me and baby to use. But most of all we love the bubbles, it's so nice to see lots of smiling faces when the bubbles come out to play!! I would highly recommend Sara's class to all parents in th area!
