Ariel Capulets (New)
6Months - 4 pre school Drama. Our aim is to encourage young children to develop, grow and explore through drama and performing arts. The 45 minute sessions are packed full of drama games and activities, music, movement and singing activities for your baby, and toddler. Throughout the session we encourage children to take an active role to create drama which allows children to lead the way by mixing improvisation with structured classes.
These sessions are fun, a great way for your child to socialise and develop in a creative and stimulating environment. Attending sessions on a regular basis will help your child’s confidence and encourage good co-ordination, communication, co-operation and creative thinking.
Baby and Toddlers are encouraged to interact and move around during the class as we explore a wonderful range of tactile and exciting props, finger rhymes, action songs and sensory stories. These activities help babies to develop their cognitive, physical and emotional skills. These sessions will be themed anything from the circus to Frozen. Young children are given the opportunity to express themselves through drama activities, music and movement, role play, and storytelling. These activities will encourage and develop confidence and independence.

My son has been attending classes with Ariel Company Theatre for about 5 years now and I can't praise them highly enough. There is a fantastic atmosphere with enthusiastic and caring tutors. They work brilliantly with your children if they have any special needs, and have created a nurturing environment, where the older pupils support the younger ones. The shows they put on are amazing and very inclusive - we just saw Les Miserables which was wonderful, and often include children from the different areas, so the children get to work with a variety of different children. Being at Ariel definitely helps to improve their self confidence. The school is very welcoming to new pupils and has a buddy system to help you settle in.
All my three children go to Ariel Company Theatre and my eldest has been going for 7-8 years. They all love going to the weekly classes, to the school holiday workshops but also to go and be part of the very professional stage shows that they do. Annabel goes because she loves singing and musical theatre. Amelia enjoys the musical theatre and dance and has grown in self-confidence, making many new friends outside of school since attending. Edward goes because he would love to be an actor and time spent dancing and acting is better to him than even playing football or rugby. The Ariel staff are very professional and know how to engage all the children no matter their experience or confidence, know how to make the classes fun and know how to keep discipline in the group. The work that Ariel does with special needs children is really fantastic. Annabel has become a Buddy to the special needs children on Saturday afternoons. This has inspired her future career choice and has taught her the pleasure of helping others. I have no hesitation in recommending Ariel Company Theatre to other families.
Millie has been going to Ariel in Steyning for a year now and absolutely loves it. As far as she is concerned the 3 hour Saturday session is not long enough, wishing she could do it all day every day! The staff are all very dedicated and friendly, making sure they get to know each individual child. Children quite clearly grow in confidence through Ariel, an attribute which aids them in other areas of their lives. I would highly recommend Ariel.
Ariel Drama Academy is professional and the staff are very dedicated. It is obvious they enjoy what they are doing and care for all the children. I have seen my son's confidence grow from strength to strength along with his abilities. He has stretched himself in areas he would have normally avoided and thoroughly enjoyed himself along the way while also making some good friends.
Ariel Drama Academy - Drama Academies & Pre School Drama – Thank you so much for all these beautiful reviews, we are so proud of what we provide at Ariel and we are committed to continuing the high standard of Theatrical training, ensuring our students keep achieving their very best they can, with these life changing transferable skills.

Megan has been attending Ariel Company Theatre since it started quite a few years ago. The whole ethos is great, very inclusive of all children as well as offering a very high standard of professional training in a warm and encouraging environment. My daughter really enjoys it and has had the opportunity to tutor the younger classes as well as perform in numerous productions. I would highly recommend Ariel Company Theatre.
