Update from Mum (Date: 12/1/16)

"The best thing about The Theatre Workshop is meeting new people, I love the drama classes working together as a group as built me confidence" - Megan Jeffries

Megan's confidence has grown over the time she has been with The Theatre Workshop, she has built really strong friendship groups while developing as lovely actress. She is starting to take risks as a performer and the confidence she has gained throughout the sessions is helping to support the new skills she is learning.

Megan's biggest challenge in the session is the dance element. Before she started The Theatre Workshop Megan hadn't dance before. However, she is always pushing herself to get better and listens to feedback given by the teacher and acts on improvements to be made. Over the past period, Megan has built her skills in Acting, Singing and Dance.

Megan is really excited about the group drama exams, working on a classic piece and mixing it with things that happen today. Megan wishes to continue building her skills and grow in confidence as she meets new people and challenges.

Update from Mum (Date: 26/7/15)

Megan has been attending her classes every Friday. She has particularly enjoyed rehearsing for the upcoming show. She enjoys all the positive feedback she receives from her tutors and peers. Megans self confidence has improved dramatically she also has a real sense of belonging to the group which is wonderful to see.

She simply doesn't see Theatre Workshop as a challenge she utterly throws herself into everything and in her own words feels "she can do anything". Megan's main focus has been learning dance routines and musical performance for the upcoming show. This also has improved her team work.

Megan is hoping to continue with her efforts in session and to give a fantastic performance at the Brighton Dome. Her family all have tickets and can't wait!
