Hunny, Dance in Brighton

Update from Mum (Date: 6/1/16)

Hunny is progressing really well and loves showing her dancing off to people. We have been really delighted with her self motivation in practicing at home. Her interest in Flamenco and the Spanish culture has grown over the months and she has been searching YouTube for clips of the dancing and her instructors.

 She has also been teaching us words she has learnt at her classes and actually asked to learn more Spanish. We now have translation post-it notes all over the kitchen and the whole family are learning Spanish!

Update from Mum (Date: 29/6/15)

Hunny is starting to learn actual dances now and really enjoying practicing when ever she can. She is delighted to demonstrate what she has learnt to anyone that will watch. Over the last period she has been learning rhythm and practices her flamenco clapping lots. Over the next period Hunny hopes to take part in one of the performances but we have been away for the ones organised so far.

Update from Mum (Date: 26/5/15)

Hunny is just delighted to be taking part in her flamenco classes and can't stop telling everyone she meets about her lovely teachers. Hunny has always loved to dance but the class is the first thing she has done independently and she is blossoming. She adores her teachers and really loves having a class of her own to talk about as her big sister usually gets to go to things like this. It's given her heaps of confidence and made her feel very grown up having her own thing.

The biggest challenge is finding flamenco shoes that fit her tiny feet! She is learning rhythm and composure. She is concentrating and really listening to the teachers as she wants to please them. She is also hoping to perform with the dance group at their next performance.
