Educational Observer for Sponsored Child

We have enlisted the help of Alex Dalton to observe the progress and learning journeys of the sponsored children.

Alex will be providing reports throughout the year telling us about what each child has learned and helping parents understand how they can help their child learn too.

Alex Dalton

Alex studied violin at the Royal Northern College of Music and Dalcroze Eurhythmics in Geneva and has wide freelance experience across the performing arts.

Alex has delivered workshops at The National Association of Music Educators National Conference, The Royal Ballet School, Northampton University Drama Department, Hillingdon, Hampshire, Croydon, Northampton and Norfolk LEA Music Conferences and The European String Teachers’ Association, amongst others.

In her present role as Primary Music Curriculum Leader for East Sussex Music Service, Alex is responsible for supporting 150 Primary schools with their music provision. She regularly delivers INSET and projects, works on county strategies such as singing and whole class instrumental tuition, and teaches each week in local Schools.

Alex plays the piano, enjoys cycling and has two young children.
