We all love our children to bits but it seems that many of us are happy to get them back into the school routine! With the new year, children have so many opportunities to learn and it really is an exciting time.
Your child could learn to dance, play rugby, swim, run, sing, act, sew or do so many other things that teach them skills for life and give them a life-time of pleasure.
By the age of 7, 8 or 9, your child may have found the passion that could take them to dizzy heights like Ben, one of our KalliKids Ambassadors. Even if it doesn't take them to Olympic stadiums like Ben, it can give them confidence, social skills, friends and a way to be themselves.
As your child starts school or nursery, help them with their hand-writing with the help of Start-Bee and give them personalised pencils and a pencil case. Pregnant Mums can win a yummy mummy bag with their beautiful bump and of course, you can find lots of ideas and discounts on children's activities and services.
At just seven, Ben tried out judo and discovered a hobby that took him all the way to the London Olympics in 2012 where he became a Bronze Paralympian Medallist.
When diagnosed with Stargardts disease at age 10, instead of leaving judo because of his degenerating sight, Ben stuck with it and judo gave him a huge amount of support and positive focus.
Ben is a KalliKids Ambassador and wants all children to try all sorts of activities to find the perfect focus for them.
What life-time hobby could give your child so much?

Lois, just 12 years old, reached the Finals of the Class Clowns at this summer's Edinburgh Festival and even met Jo Brand.
We think this is a fantastic achievement. Stand-up comedy is not easy for anyone but when you are 12 it takes real courage.
We wish Lois lots of luck in continuing her stage career and say well done to KalliKids accredited The Drama Studio of Edinburgh in helping Lois achieve this.
