There are many types of gymnastics to try; Artistic, Rhythmic, Acrobatic, Aerobic and Trampolining and Tumbling.

Gymnastics can offer so many benefits to a child from increasing social confidence to strength, flexibility, balance, agility and co-ordination while giving them the knowledge of how to fall and roll safely. It can make them more aware of their body and the space around it and give them discipline and self-control.

    • Gymnastics is such a graceful sport which takes a long time to practice. it has improved my balance, strength and speed. I go to gymnastics club every Friday and each time we learn new tricks on the beam, bars, floor and vault. I recommend gymnastics but start of with a cartwheel, backwards roll and forwards roll before going on to bridges and walkovers. only do flicks and harder stuff at your club or on a thick gymnastics mat, HOPE THIS HELPED!!!

    • I love gymnastics cause you feel so flexible

    • I joined Gym Club because some of my friends were doing it and I love it because you get to try lots of new things. I think it has helped me with my co-ordination and improved my balance. My mum thinks I'm good at it - I'm always doing handstands now! I have a strict teacher but I don't mind because I learn a lot. I would recommend trying gymnastics but remember never to start off with something too difficult.
