Voting is well underway for the first ever KalliKids Awards.

Nearly 300 providers of activities and services for families are hoping to be named as top of their game in one of the 12 possible categories.

Those who get the most votes will be presented with an award at a ceremony to be held shortly after the closing date on August 31.

Karen Bach, founder of KalliKids, said: “We set up the KalliKids Awards to recognise all the amazing businesses and providers in the community. All our businesses are accredited by ourselves and we are very proud of the services they offer.

“It is likely that most parents and other users of family services have come across one of the 300 companies we represent. These from sports coaches and children’s nurseries to drama and music groups. So I would encourage everyone to visit our website, take a look at the providers and cast a vote.”

KalliKids is a Brighton based company dedicated to providing parents with a place to find recommended, trusted and approved family activities.

More than 3000 parents look to KalliKids for advice and the company has over 9000 social media followers.

“Having a KalliKids accreditation means having a stamp of quality,” said Karen. “Winning a KalliKids award would further cement this stamp.”
