We are so lucky with where we live by having the beaches and New Forest on our doorsteps enabling us to have cheap days outs with picnics.
Over the coming weeks I will also feature a variety of places to visit that are low cost.
At long last the weather is improving and summer is starting to feel it is on its way, for now, enjoy the good weather!
Bournemouth Borough Council has developed another first on their award-winning seafront. A newly launched eco-friendly mini golf course has been created on Boscombe Pier, but this is not any old mini golf as the golf balls can actually feed the fish below!
The amazing 18-hole course provides the first ecological and biodegradable golf ball to contain fish food in its core. When each player gets to the end of the course the golf ball goes down the last hole into the sea below and feeds the fish.
The cost is £4 for adults, £3 for children, £12 for a family of 2 adults and 3 children.
All local libraries provide free rhyme and story sessions.
These sessions usually last around 30 minutes and run at various times and days; for different age groups for the under 5’s. For more information please visit your local authority’s website under their ‘Library’ section.
The long awaited ‘Despicable Me 3’ (PG) is released on 30th June 2017.
Gru and the Minions return and they meet Gru’s identical twin brother Dru. You know that this will probably mean trouble for Gru and the Minions, but I’m sure it will provide lots of entertainment for all the Minion fans out there.
