2 Day workshop with Caroline £120
Thursday 20th April – Friday 21st April 10-4pm
An exciting 2 day embroidery skills workshop is an induction on how to use our new Innov-is XV Brother machine (retailing at over £6000 and really is the business.) by Brother. This machine enables students to create their own embroidery using their own line design, combine beading, hand and freehand embroidery, over 30 professional fonts and perfect for embroidering pieces to go onto garments and patches.
Because this machine is so pricey, we will restrict its use during term classes and only available to those who have attended the induction workshop. The machine will open up a whole new dimension to students interested in using embroidery in their work. Ideal for GCSE/A level/Foundation Art and Textiles students as this machine isn’t freely available at most schools and will help the development of your ideas.
