New Catch-a-Balls classes in Kew and Wimbledon Catch-a-Balls have added more classes at venues in Kew and Wimbledon for pre-school kids giving children the opportunity to learn ball skills, have fun and burn off energy! Catch-a-Balls classes are fun ball game-based activities that develop skills such as rolling, throwing, catching and using bats. The classes are for girls and boys from about 18 months up to school age and run during term time. There are new games and props each term to ensure the children are kept interested and experience a wide range of sports (for example, cricket and boules). All classes are held indoors so kids stay warm and dry. Tamar returns! We are delighted to welcome back Tamar Broadbent, who returns after a few months of travel and trying her hand with a one-woman music and comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival. Tamar will be taking our 5pm Thursday singing class in Langley Vale, and the 6.30pm to 7.30pm drama only class in Ashtead for those aged 14+. She is an accomplished pianist and singer, who writes and performs her own material. She is also a great comedienne, and there is talk of her doing a comedy workshop for us at some point in the future, and is jointly running our February half-term song and dance workshop with a Disney Descendants theme.
