What's Happening in Harlow & Surrounding #2
Welcome to my second edition of the Harlow KalliKids blog.
You can keep in touch with our local Facebook page for more information and photos.
My Daughter and I recently visited pets corner in Harlow town park we were greeted by a newborn reindeer.
Pets corner has a large selection of farm animals, exotic animals, reindeer, llamas, alpacas and visitor favourites rabbits, ducks, chickens and Emily the pig. Opening times 11am till 4.45 seven days a week.
Pets corner is a great place to meet with friends and family and is located next to the town park with great spaces to enjoy a picnic, in the summer months check out the paddling pool or burn off some energy in the playground - there's something for everyone.
We have also been enjoying the sunny days in our garden with my little gardener looking after our home grown fruit and vegetables.
The weather over the up and coming week is not looking too bad with lots of sunny days in store, so be sure to take the opportunity to enjoy time outside with friends and family.
There’s a small chance of rain in the forecast, you may want to pack your rain Mac just in case.

A charity head shave and hair dye event took place in Harlow, 5 volunteers agreed to have their hair shaved or dyed. 9 participants took over cutting edge hair salon in Harlow.
They raised £1500, which will be split between local charities including:
Livability - which assists adults with learning difficulties.
Young Carers – which supports young people caring for older relatives and provides outings and special entertainment for them.
No Child Without - which helps schools get sports equipment.
Well done to all that took part.
