KalliKids' Favourite Blogs January 2015
We are blowing away the winter blues with a brand new feature on our blog. KalliKids Favourite Blogs is a new monthly list of bloggers writing on all aspects of parenting who we’d like to introduce and share with KalliKids parents. For January we are kicking of the list with our favourite funny bloggers.
These blogs offer a chance to kick back and take a look at some of the funnier moments of parenting. It is often said that kids grow up so quickly and in between the nappy changes, school runs and chiselling dried-on Weetabix off the furniture, there are some lighter moments which would pass us by if we didn’t take a moment to just stop and appreciate them.
The bloggers on our list do just that. They encourage us all to stop worrying about not being the perfect mum and just get on with it, allowing yourself a bit of a laugh along the way.
With three boys aged 7 and under, according to Jess, “So much of parenting can only be greeted with one response: a wry smile. ” Her humorous blog features a light hearted take on her battles with her boys and her conscience about doing the right thing when it comes to parenting.
We Love: Twenty parenting mistakes you only make once. In an office straw poll we had pretty much ticked off all of these between us.

Brummy Mummy of 2
Emma is a teacher from Birmingham who writes about her adventures with her two children under 5. Emma's blog tells it like it is without sparing anyone's blushes and it is hilarious.
We Love: Ten things I hate about two - a list we can all identify with. We’re also looking forward to Don’t beat yourself up guide to childcare which has just started for 2015.

Hurrah for Gin
Katie from Brighton is mum to two lively boys. Her blog is beautifully illustrated with cute illustrations of stick people... and mentions gin a lot! Katie says of parenting, “if you don’t laugh about the challenges you will cry”, and there is plenty to laugh about in her blog.
We Love: A memo to all toddlers re your diet – If you’ve had a bad day trying to get your kids to eat anything at all, let alone vegetables, this will certainly cheer you up.
